Korea Belgium Association (BE)

Objectives:
Founded more than 11 years ago, KOBEL is a socio-cultural non profit organization, without religious nor political affiliation, devoted to promote contacts, exchanges and friendship between Belgium and Korea. It also has the purpose to serve as interface between the Belgian people, Korean adoptees and the Korean community living in Belgium. It aims to promote the Korean culture in all its aspects.

Members:
Everyone is welcome at KOBEL.KOBEL gathers whoever, Korean born or not, has a link or an interest for Korea and its culture.

Achievements:
KOBEL organized many projects in relationship with Korea : music concerts, movie festivals, celebration of Korean traditions (Tchusok, Sollal), language classes, Korean cooking experience, exchange program of young Korean and Belgian students, etc.

KOBEL also helps Belgians of Korean origin : many of them went back to Korea and some could meet with their birth families thanks to the association.

KOBEL organizes cultural events to allow its members to familiarize with Korean culture as well as events based on friendship so that its members can meet and share their experiences.

A monthly e-news is sent to all its members and sympathizers for free. It gives the latest news on the association, as well as details on its activities, projects and varied current events.
